South Carolinian here & I grew up putting salt on watermelon, cantaloupe & honeydew melon. 😁 It's so special about Justine's wedding band. How wonderful it is an heirloom. I have my mother's wedding band & I treasure it. Also, as several have said, silicone rings are popular now. Two of my nephews have gold bands they only wear for "special" occasions, but wear their silicone bands any other time.

My parents would sometimes put salt on their watermelon and tomatoes. I can't tolerate it that way. You guys are wise and have great taste. You are so right about the social security office. It is weird. It always seems like they are so somber and almost sad looking, kind of like the Secretary of State office here. But if you deal with crazy people all the time, I would imagine it would get hard after a while. As far as rings go, I have often seen men who work with their hands wear what is called a silicone/rubber ring. They aren't very expensive from what I can see. But like you said, the ring is not the most important thing, the marriage is. Never, ever joke with a security officer or customs. They can't take a joke.

Interesting the history of lemonade uses during those days. Lemonade has vitamin C and it’s good for the cold or flu. And didn’t know that the stripes were added along with the starts. Anyone can ‘witch for water’. It doesn’t take anything special from the person doing it. When we had a well dug they came out and did that same thing. He then showed us how we ourselves could find water. It was awesome.

I am new here, only been watching their channels for a few months and I love them. Honestly, these two are so cute and a breath of fresh air. I had a couple of assumptions of Justine being pregnant, but I used my common sense and figured out on my own that it is definitely the dresses she uses and of course, the videos was made several months ago and I haven't seen a baby on recent videos 😂. But I do have a confession to make; for the few seconds of seeing Justine and thinking she's pregnant, I think that is just wishful thinking for Justine and Ron on my behalf. Like I said, Ron and Justine is a very cute couple, they are adorable and having a little one would just be a blessing for the both of them. ❤😊

My experience at SS office: when I changed to my married name, I listed all of the names I've had (or so I thought). My last name changed several times in my childhood. I failed to list one of them cause I didn't even know about that one. That clerk just griped me out one side and down the other. When he finally stopped, I said that I was sorry but I didn't know about that. I was first given my mom's name before she married my dad 6 weeks later. Then I was given his name. If she ever told me, I didn't remember. But that guy was just so rude.

September 11, 2001, I was on the back porch at my home in Vale, N.C., painting the floor Fir Green. My husband called and told me to turn on the t.v. - it didn't matter what station. I turned the television on and saw the second plane fly into this tower. Automatically, I fell to my knees half praying and half crying from the depths of my soul. When it came time for me to pick my son up from school, I said to one of his friend's mom, "it looks like we're going to war." I still have the old flag that flew on our front porch and the Charlotte Observer newspaper from the day after.

We have been married 56 years. My husband must have salt on his watermelon. I do not like salt on watermelon. Other than that our food likes and preferences are the same.

Salt helps the sweetness….😂 I just like it like that. 🤷🏼‍♀️
